Saturday May 7, 2011 — Santa Ynez Valley, California
2011 Registration opens August 19, 2010!

Santa Barbara and the adjoining Santa Ynez Valley offer the ideal destination running experience. Early May is the ideal time to visit this haven for active life-stylers and wine enthusiasts. Away from the hustle and bustle of the big city, the area has plenty to offer; beaches, historic towns and missions, abundant wineries and tasting rooms, nestled within valleys and hills dotted with horse ranches, fruit orchards and vineyards. Each year, participants from across the country get to enjoy this spectacular course running from downtown Santa Ynez through Los Olivos into the Danish-settled town of Solvang for the post-race Wine and Music Festival. Enjoy a weekend full of activities in this iconic setting but be warned, its habit forming and sells out early!
The 2010 SB Wine Country Half was spectacular. Far and away the best half marathon course we have ever travelled. Great design with the rolling hills and the scenery was awesome. See you next year! — Jean and Kevin from Tustin, CA
